Have you heard about Splash?

You may have heard about Splash, our Weka friend.

Last year, he was 'found' by my dog, Stella, in our paddock.  She brought him into her bed and we rescued him from having to be a 'dog's best friend' forever.

He has thrived and is now fully grown.  He is a pet, but lives beside my pond. He gets up to a LOT of mischief and the children in Weka love to hear about his antics.

Splash was still young in this photo with a black beak and legs, 

but he still had some blue feathers on his tummy.

As you can see, Splash is a crazy sort of pet. He is fun to have around.
